Takedown Policy

The University of Bristol’s Hong Kong Collections, part of the university’s Special Collections, are made available for use in research, teaching, and private study.

Where copyright persists, the right is owned either by the University of Bristol Special Collections, the original copyright holder, or by the creators of the content or their descendants. The digital reproductions of photographic prints and slides in the Hong Kong Collections have been added to the HPHK website under Creative Commons licence Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International with permission from the relevant copyright holder.

Although all reasonable efforts have been made to identify and contact rights holders, we recognise that sometimes material published online may be in breach copyright laws or contain sensitive personal information.
